Advanced Windows Vista Parental Control Setup

Step 5: Configure the Windows Vista Web Filter
Go to your Child's Account
Click the link for 'Windows Vista Web Filter'
Choose whether you want to 'Block All Websites and Content' or to 'Allow Some Websites and Content'
Add specific websites to Allowed or Blocked list
Choose a Web Restriction Level
Check whether or not you want to 'Block File Downloads'
Step 6: Configure Windows Vista Time Limits
Click the 'Time Limits' link in the Parental Control Window
Choose which Days and Times you Want to Block

Step 7: Configure the Games Parental Control
Click the 'Games' link in the Parental Control Window
Choose whether or not you want to allow your child to play games
Set the Game Rating your Prefer
Block and Allow Specific Games
Step 8: Allow and Block Specific Programs
Click the 'Allow and Block Specific Programs' link
Choose whether you want: 'Child can use all programs' or 'Child can only use the programs I allow'
If you choose specific programs you will need to check the programs you want to allow, and uncheck the programs you want to disable.

Step 9: Review Parental Settings Summary
Review the Parental Settings Summary and Click to make Desired Changes
Step 10: View the Windows Vista Parental Control Activity Reports
Click the 'View Activity Report' link
Click any information you are interested in viewing.
